Wiper Blade: Service and Repair

Replacing windshield wiper blade

Removal

Remove wiper blade (1)

Press lugs (2, 2 each) into direction of arrow with screwdriver

Pull rubber wiper blade element (3) out of holders (4)

Installation

Insert new rubber wiper element (3) into holders (4)

Push rubber wiper blade element in until lugs (2, 2 each) catch properly

Install wiper blade

Switch on windshield wiper and windshield washer

The wiper field should be wiped free. The rubber lip on the wiper blade should flip over when the direction of motion reverses. If this does not
happen, correct angle of wiper arm so that end of wiper arm is parallel to wiping field.

If extremely dirty obtain separate order and clean windshield.
