The radio remote actuation (FFA) via the taxi emergency alarm two-way radio remote activation transmitter (A8/4) in combination with components
offers drive authorization and the locking system enables an emergency alarm to be triggered in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle.

In order to avoid unintentional actuation, the ALARM button on the taxi emergency alarm two-way radio remote activation transmitter (A8/4) has to be
pressed twice within three seconds.

Assignment to the vehicle can be checked as follows without actuating the alarm:

A vehicle key is installed on the taxi emergency alarm two-way radio remote activation transmitter (A8/4) as described in the programming. After
pressing the TEST button, the tone sequence is sounded once five long, and short when the battery voltage is correct. Within the next second, the open or
close button of the vehicle key must be pressed, as a result of which the transmission of an IR protocol is actuated. After receiving the IR telegram, the
taxi emergency alarm two-way radio remote activation transmitter (A8/4) checks if the ident. code matches. Only when the taxi emergency alarm
two-way radio remote activation transmitter (A8/4) and the key belong to the same vehicle does a short piezo tone sound.

Programming 

Programming of the taxi emergency alarm two-way radio remote activation transmitter (A8/4) with the vehicle-specific ident. code is done using an IR
signal of a key that belongs to the vehicle. To this end the vehicle key must be mounted with the front side (IR beam direction) onto the corresponding
marking on the IR transmission housing base of the taxi emergency alarm two-way radio remote activation transmitter (A8/4) . After pressing the TEST
button the tone sequence is sounded once five long ,and short when the battery voltage is correct. Within the next 5 seconds, the open or close button of
the vehicle key must be pressed, as a result of which the transmission of an IR protocol is actuated. A continuous tone sounds for 2 s following successful
programming.

Upon correctly receiving an IR signal from the vehicle key through the taxi emergency alarm two-way radio remote activation transmitter (A8/4) this is
then programmed to the vehicle code and simultaneous protected against any other programming attempts.

The difference between programmed / unprogrammed is rendered possible by the piezo sequence with the TEST button pressed on the taxi emergency
alarm two-way radio remote activation transmitter (A8/4) . The piezo tone sequence of the unprogrammed taxi emergency alarm two-way radio remote
activation transmitter (A8/4) differs from the programmed one in the following manner:
programmed: once five times long, short, 1 s break
unprogrammed: once five times long, short, 5 s break
