1. Insert 13-pin trailer hitch socket (X58) into the ball neck (9) and mount using TORX screws (5).
2. Mount socket wiring harness (1) to ball neck (9) with line bracket (7) and TORX screw (6).
3. Route the socket wiring harness (1) in the recess clearance of the filler (4).
4. Route the socket wiring harness (1) through the existing hole below the left taillamp and seal with grommet (2).

5. Route the socket wiring harness (1) along existing lines to the installation location of the trailer connection unit [AAG] control unit (N28/1) and

fasten.

6. Connect the black, 6-pin coupling and the white, 4-pin coupling of the socket wiring harness (1) to the trailer connection unit [AAG] control unit

(N28/1).

7. Attach the line with the black, 6-pin coupling and the white 4-pin coupling to attachment point (8) using a tie strap.
8. Connect brown lead (br) to ground, left taillamp in trunk (W6/1).
