Modification Notes
Rear Axle Carrier

Set torque wrench to 100 Nm.

Apply set torque to bolt (in release direction).
^
If the torque wrench cracks, then the bolted connection is OK and the test over.
^
If the bolt is released, then the bolted connection is not OK Proceed with step 3.

Unscrew bolt and replace bolt.

Clean thread of bolt in frame floor assembly.

Tighten new bolt according to tightening instructions (see table above).

Set torque wrench to 130 Nm.

Apply set torque to bolt (in tighten direction).
^
If the torque wrench cracks, then the actual torque (>=130 Nm) has been reached, the bolted connection is OK and the test over.
^
If the bolt turns, then the actual torque (<=130 Nm) has not been reached and the bolted connection is not OK Proceed with step 8.

In this case, the base plate must be inspected for cracks using an endoscope
