If bracket (arrow) is not installed, proceed to next step.

Check for bracket mounting bores (arrows Figure 2) in the SBC hydraulic unit:

If bores are not present, a clamp-on harness mounting bracket must be installed. Proceed to Subject B and complete the procedure in its
entirety.

If bores are present, proceed to subject B and do not perform step 18: Installation of clamp-on mounting bracket.
B. Installation of Ground Wires & Bracket to SBC Wiring Harness
1.
Lock the vehicle globally and then wait for 30 seconds for the SBC control module to power-down.
