Check threaded connections on Battery Control Module (BCM) (Figure 1, N82):

a.

Remove BCM threaded connection on body and clean contact surface, removing any corrosion or paint residue.

b.

Reinstall the BCM threaded connection onto the body and tighten to the specified torque (20 Nm).

c.

Disconnect threaded connection of the ground line on the BCM and clean contact surfaces.

d.

Reattach the ground line back onto the BCM to the specified tightening torque (12 Nm).

3)

Check BCM voltage supply source:

a.

At the prefuse box (F33) (Figure 2) in the trunk, check that fuse F84 (5 Amp) and its red supply line are properly seated.
