Note:

Make sure ground cable is disconnected.

Check alternator (G2):

a.

Check charging current and voltage under load as per WIS document AR15.40-P-5010T & AR15.40-P-5011T.

b.

Check voltage directly at the battery terminals observing the voltage drop between the alternator and battery.

Note:

The voltage at the battery (G1) should be above 13.5 V, with the engine running, otherwise there may be a contact problem in the wiring
between the alternator and the battery.

Note:

The following allowable labor operations should be used when submitting a warranty claim for this repair.
