AR54.21-P-1260T Remove/Install Sam With Fuse and Relay Box, Left Front

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and store basic data from driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) temporarily in STAR
DIAGNOSIS
-

When replacing the driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)

NOTE:
-

Installation: Transfer basic data stored on an interim basis to the new driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)

Diagnosis system STAR DIAGNOSIS

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Open hood and raise to vertical position

Disengage lever (10) in direction of arrow and remove cover (2) from fuse and relay box (3)

Separate electrical connectors (4)

Detach electric cable (5) from driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)         

7

Unscrew screws (6) and remove the driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) from the fuse and relay box (3)    

NOTE:
-

Until the electrical connectors under the driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) are accessible

-

Installation: Pay attention to line routing Hooks (7) must latch in place

Unplug all electrical connectors from driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)

NOTE:  Installation: observe color codings

Unclip relay (8) with bracket from driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

Remove driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)

Install in the reverse order

Read out DTC memory
