Vacuum Element For Diverter Flap

Purpose 
The diverter flap vacuum element actuates the diverter flap (air directly from evaporator to center nozzle) for control of the air to the center nozzle.

Design 
The diverter flap vacuum element is designed as a single-stage vacuum element.

Function 
The diverter flap vacuum element (41) is actuated automatically by the A/C push-button control module (N22) via the switchover valve block (Y11).
In the open state vacuum is present at the diverter flap vacuum element (41). In the heater mode the diverter flap vacuum element (41) is released so that
the diverter flap is closed.
