NOTE: Heavy and continuous rocking of the vehicle can lead to tripping the alarm.
Switching off anti-towing sensor
In order to avoid erroneous alarms when transporting or loading the vehicle the anti-towing sensor (AS) can be switched off with the ATA status/towing
protection/IP switch (S85/2).
Pull key out of steering lock for this purpose and press top of ATA status/ towing protection/IR switch (S85/2).
The status indicator in the ATA status/towing protection/IR switch (S85/2) flashes for approx. 2s as an acknowledgment signal. Then lock the vehicle
from outside with the central locking feature.
The anti-towing sensor (TS) remains switched off until the vehicle is again locked from the outside with the central locking feature.
