NOTE:  Number of electrical connectors (5) according to equipment.

Unscrew bolts (6)

Lift stowage box (1) at front and remove

Install in the reverse order

Special Tools

Pulling Hooks, P/N # 140 589 02 33 00

Disconnect ground line of battery

Open ashtray (2) and unclip the center console cover (1) in the direction of the arrow out of the center console

Release shift lever knob arresting mechanism (3) counterclockwise

Detach shift lever knob with shift lever sleeve (4) from gearshift lever (5)

Disconnect electrical connectors (6)    

NOTE:  Number of electrical connectors depend on equipment.

Remove center console cover (1) together with the shift lever knob with shift lever sleeve (4)

Press shift lever knob with shift lever sleeve (4) out of the center console cover (1)

Install in the reverse order
