Retrieve Compact Discs (CDs) from the CD Changer When Service is Required

Note:

For Information Only

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that may require service to the in-dash Compact Disc Changer (CDC), please insure that all
discs are retrieved from the changer prior to service by following the below instructions.

Note:

To eject the CDs from the changer, the changer must be in the vehicle and connected to its entire assembly to receive a Door Open" message
from CAN allowing the discs to be released by the changer. Connecting power will not enable the eject function of the CD changer.

Press the "open" button to open the automatic CD changer access door (Figure 1, arrow).
