Pry off tie rod ball joint (5) with pull-off tools (01, 02, 03).
Do not damage rubber boot, as otherwise lubricant may leak from the tie rod joint (5).
Do not damage stainless-steel ring, as otherwise the sealing function is no longer given.

Remove pull-off tool (01, 02, 03).
Mount

Clean tapered connection.
Grease or oil must not be present at the cone and thread, as otherwise the tie rod joint (5) could work its way loose.

Replace self-locking nut and tighten to specified torque.
If necessary, counterhold tie rod ball joint (5) using Allen wrench.
