Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

AR82.35-P-6001T Remove/Install Auxiliary Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position     

2.1 Remove housing from combination filter
2.2 Remove housing from dust filter

Remove spreading rivet (2)

Unclip covering (3) using a screwdriver on the wheelhouse liner

Pull filler neck (4) out of washer fluid reservoir

NOTE:  Installation: Replace seal of filler neck (4) on washer fluid reservoir.

Detach vent hose(5) from filler neck (4) and remove filler neck (4)

Unhook drain hose for radiator tank (6) and place to one side

Unhook coolant hoses (7) on auxiliary washer fluid reservoir (1)

Unscrew nuts (8)

CAUTION:  Installation: Replace self-locking nut (8).

Remove auxiliary washer fluid reservoir (1) from engine compartment, as far as it takes for the connector hose (9) connection to be accessible

Disconnect connector hose (9) on auxiliary washer fluid reservoir (1) and remove auxiliary washer fluid reservoir (1)

NOTE:
-

Collect washer fluid which flows out.

Installation: Check correct seat of fixtures (10) on battery bracket (11)

Install in the reverse order

Fill washer fluid reservoir
