Wrap COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) with felt tape.

Using the white 4-pin coupling (2) of the COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) and the white 4-pin plug of the COMAND fan motor (M4/13),
make the radio fan electrical connection (X120).

Route COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) from the radio fan electrical connection (X120) to the slot of the COMAND controller unit.

Remove black 12-pin coupling (4) from 42-pin coupling (3).

Remove insert (5) from black 12-pin coupling (4).

Install electrical lines (6) of COMAND fan motor wiring harness in insert (5).

Assignment:
Contact cavity 1 = gray/yellow line
Contact cavity 2 = brown/yellow line
Contact cavity 7 = gray line
Contact cavity 8 = red/yellow line

Install insert (5) in black 12-pin coupling (4).

Install black 12-pin coupling (4) at 42-pin coupling (3).
