- with CODE (537) Digital radio
- with CODE (810) Sound system
- with CODE (863) Digital/analog TV tuner

Remove optical fiber (1) from power supply wiring harness (2).

Observe installation position of optical fiber (1). The coupling (3) will be attached to the media interface control unit at a later time.

Attach protective sheaths (4), as shown, in area of coupling (3) at optical fiber (1).

Route optical fiber (1) along broken line from installation location (arrow A) of media interface control unit into slot of audio equipment.

Route optical fiber (1) behind crossmember (5).
The coupling (3) must be routed from the installation location (arrow A) of the media interface control unit.

Wrap felt tape around wiring harness of AUX connection electrical connector (X39/45).

Fix wiring harness of AUX connection electrical connector (X39/45) and optical fiber (1) in place with cable tie at vehicle wiring harness (arrows
B).
