occur during assembly.

Attach double-sided adhesive tape all over the back of the illuminated door sill molding control unit (1).
4.1 Glue illuminated door sill molding control unit (1) onto footrest (22).
On vehicles without code (489) Airmatic (air suspension with continuously adjustable damping.
On vehicles with transmission 722.6 observe the marking applied beforehand.
4.2 Glue illuminated door sill molding control unit (1) onto the AIRmatic control unit.
On vehicles with code (489) AIRMATIC (air suspension with continuous adjustment damping).
The AIRMATIC control unit is fitted at the point in which the illuminated door sill molding control unit (1) is fitted on vehicles without code
(489) AIRMATIC (air suspension with continuously adjustable damping.

The illuminated door sill molding control unit (1) should additionally be fixed in place on the footrest with cable ties (23) as per picture.
