Component Identification
The electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) receives digital and analog input signals, actuates various components or transmits
information to various control units via the Controller Area Network bus class C (engine compartment) (CAN-C). The selector lever positions and
touch shifts carried out are detected in a non-contact manner by means of optoelectronic switches. A photoelectric barrier is closed or interrupted each
time the position of the selector lever is changed.
