Headlamp Washer Pump: Service and Repair

AR82.35-P-6003T Remove/Install Headlamp Cleaning System Pump

- with CODE (600a) Headlamp cleaning system

Disconnect ground cable of battery

DANGER:
-

Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.

-

Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified
by the vehicle manufacturer.

Lift vehicle on lifting platform.

Remove right front wheel
-

Wheel bolt: 130 N.m

Remove rear fender liner in right front fender

Disconnect electrical connectors (1)

Detach electrical connector on rear-end door washer fluid pump

Disconnect the washer fluid hose from the HCS pump (M5/2)    

NOTE:
-

To do so press locking clamps together (arrow). Collect washer fluid which flows out.

Installation:Replace sealing ring (3)

Unclip bracket (4) from washer fluid reservoir (5)

Use a mounting wedge to push off the HCS pump (M5/2) from the washer fluid reservoir (5)

NOTE:  Note correct installation position.

NOTE:  Installation:Install new gasket (6)

Install in the reverse order
