specification welding of the guide rail. This can cause the guide rail to enlarge and the flexible shaft can move out of the guide rail. In some cases, the
departure of the shaft from the guide rail (Figure 1) is detectable. A more precise inspection of the removed guide rail may be necessary to detect if the
welding process has not melted the guide rail material as shown (Figure 2). Should weld appear as in Figure 2, replace guide cover to resolve. For
comparison, refer to Figure 3 for correct welding.
