Roof Rack Frame: Service and Repair

AR77.40-P-5000T Remove/Install Roof Railing

Shown On Right Roof Railing

Remove headliner

Unscrew nuts (2) and loosen window airbag (3) from roof frame until nuts (4) are accessible

Nut, window airbag unit to roof frame: 6 N.m

Unscrew nuts (4)
-

Nut for roof railing: 9 N.m

Unclip cover (5) and slide back

Unclip tailgate actuation hydraulic cylinder from hydraulic cylinder ball pin (6) and lay to side until nut (7) is accessible

Unscrew nut (7)
-

Nut for roof railing: 9 N.m

Remove roof railing (1) from vehicle roof

CAUTION:  Carefully remove roof railing (1) from vehicle roof to prevent paint damage.

Install in the reverse order
