Clamp drive pinion together with bearing cap in a vise.
Use clamping jaws.

Press out radial seal (42) with a suitable tool.

Check flange of drive pinion for galling and replace if necessary.
Install

Coat sealing lip of new radial seal (42) with universal hypoid gear oil.

Use drift (042) to press radial seal (42) flush into bearing cap.

Coat splines in flange (41) and at drive pinion with universal hypoid gear oil.
10
Press flange (41) onto drive pinion with bearing cap (47).
