During accident repair, check whether a new windshield must be installed.
Detach windshield (1) from body flange in upper area first, then lift out upward.

Do not remove protective foil on rubber window spacers (A) or rubber lip on windshield.
1. Glue rubber window spacers (A) to lower body flange at old positions.
The following step is required only on vehicles with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or code (419) solar module for panoramic roof.
2. Glue rubber window spacers (A) to upper body flange at old positions.

The gluing areas on the windshield (1) must be absolutely free of dust and grease to prevent adhesion problems with the adhesive material when
installing the window.
1. Check windshield (1) for scratches and damage, replace if necessary.
2. Fold protective foil on inside of windshield (1) approx. 5 cm above screen print toward inside (arrows) and fasten to protective foil with adhesive
