Operation of the Audio 20 CC on the multifunction steering wheel

Using the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel and the multifunction display (A1p13) in the instrument cluster (A1) various systems controlled
via the MOST ring can be operated and information on these systems displayed. These include:

Audio systems: Radio, CD changer, etc.

^

Telephone [CTEL]

The complete data exchange between the instrument cluster (A1) and radio operating module (A2) takes place via MOST and CAN-B (interior).
All button operations on the multifunction steering wheel are read in voltage-coded by the steering column module (N80) and are placed on CAN-B.

The instrument cluster (A1) recognizes the coded messages and via the multifunction display initiates the presentation of the system just activated or
operated (audio, navigation, telephone).
Parallel to this the audio gateway control module (N93/1) receives the commands for controlling the functions within the MOST systems, converts them
into light pulses and thus controls the necessary system components.

The instrument cluster (A1) receives from the operating panel the current time because this is received automatically via GPS and therefore does not
need to be readjusted.

Operating and display options on multifunction display Radio

Set frequency band and where applicable memory location number (e.g. FM1)

Name (only on RDS station) and station frequency

Information as to whether station search takes place via frequency or via the stored station list (SP)
