AR77.21-P-0200T Remove/Install Front Panoramic Roof Roller Sun Blind

- with CODE (413) Panoramic sliding roof
- with CODE (419) Solar module for panoramic roof

DANGER:
-

Risk of injury to fingers being Jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or
sliding roof.

-

When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Open sun shade (1)

Remove headliner

Unclip clamping strip (2) from sun shade coupling (3) on left and right side of vehicle simultaneously by turning in direction of arrow (arrow A)

Move out clamping strip (2)

Press sun shade (1) in direction of arrow (arrow B) and lower sun shade (1) on left side (arrow C)

CAUTION:  Do not lower sun shade (1) too far, otherwise the sun shade shaft (5) may break

Insert suitable retaining wire (0.8 mm dia.) (4) into hole on right side (arrow B) of sun shade shaft (5)

Securely hold sun shade (1) and retaining wire (4) to prevent twisting and pull sun shade (1) out of the guide

NOTE:  Sun shade (1) and sun shade shaft (5) are pre-tensioned.

Securely hold retaining wire (4) and slowly relieve tension on the sun shade (1) by turning

Pull retaining wire (4) out of the sun shade shaft (5)

Insert retaining wire (4) into the hole of the sun shade shaft (5)

Securely hold retaining wire (4) and pretension the sun shade (1) by twisting

NOTE:  Pre-tensioning of sun shade (1) approx.18 to 20 turns.

Insert sun shade shaft (5) into guide on right side (arrow B)

CAUTION:  Insert sun shade (1) as horizontally as possible, otherwise the sun shade shaft (5) may break.
