Remove tie strap (8)

Separate electrical connector (10)

Expose electric lead (9) to left side of vehicle

Unclip electric wiring harness (11) from A-pillar.

Disconnect electrical connector (15).

Expose electric lead (12) from electric wiring harness (11)    

NOTE
-

Remove insulating tape from electric wiring harness.

-

Installation:  Wrap electric wiring harness (11) with insulating tape.

Press connector of electric lead (12) out of electrical connector (15)

See "Commercially Available Tools" given below.

Remove line passage (13) on left and right side of vehicle    

NOTE:  Installation: Ensure that passage is seated properly.

Remove glue pad (14) on left and right side of vehicle

NOTE:  Installation: Clean gluing surface.

Remove molding on windshield

NOTE:  Installation:  Sealing rubber (3) must be pinched tightly together with the windshield molding.

Cover guide rail in area of guide arm (2) with clean rag on left and right side of vehicle

Pull out retainer (5) and press out bolt (6) on left and right side of vehicle.

NOTE:  Installation: position must be noted. Bolts (6) in bearing (7) should not have perceptible play, if necessary replace bearing (7), bolt (6)
and retainer (5).

Unscrew screws (4) on left and right side of vehicle

Remove wind deflector (1)

NOTE
-

Rubber seal can be glued (3), loosen carefully.

-

Installation:  When replacing wind deflector (1) use template included

Install in the reverse order
