AR35.10-P-0035-01T Pull in rivet nut

Component Identification

If no rivet nut insertion tool for rivet nuts M12x1,5 is available, the following method can be used as an alternative.

Assemble bolt (4), nut (5), washer (6), rivet nut (3). The rivet nut (3) must be screwed completely onto the bolt (4).

Insert rivet nut (3) up to collar in the hexagon bore of the rear axle carrier (1)

Determine a

Turn nut (5) clockwise. Counterhold bolt (4) and press against the rear axle carrier (1).

Do not turn at the bolt. Otherwise the hexagon on the rivet nut or the hexagon bore in the rear axle carrier can be damaged.

Screw in nut (5) 3-4 mm (corresponds to 2 - 2.5 revolutions).

Determine dimension b. b = a + 3-4 mm

Loosen nut (5) and remove bolt (4) with nut (5) and washer (6).
