DANGER:

-

Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through
burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

-

Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked
containers.

-

Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform

-

Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by
the vehicle manufacturer.

-

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

-

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 degrees C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour
coolant into beverage bottles.

-

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Remove left and right air intake port

Remove fan shroud

Remove air dueling (1)

NOTE:  Remove signaling horn and side clip. Note the signaling horn cable routing.

Drain coolant

Disengage retaining clamps (4) and detach coolant hoses (2) from radiator (3)

NOTE:  Installation:  replace sealing rings (5) and pay attention to the correct fitting location of retaining clamps (4).

Unclip power steering cooling loop (6) from radiator (3)

Unclip the air conditioning condenser (7) from the upper supports (8) and pull out of the lower supports (9)

8.1 Unclip AIR management control system (10) from lower supports (11)

8.2 Unclip the radiator of the charge air cooler from lower supports (11)

-

Models 211.028

Disengage the retaining clamps (13) and detach automatic transmission oil lines (12) from radiator (3)
-

Transmission 722.618/628/633/636/696

CAUTION:  Stop up automatic transmission oil lines (12) and connections, to prevent damage to the automatic transmission by
contamination.

NOTE:  Installation:  replace the sealing rings and pay attention to the exact fitting location of retaining clamps(13).

Inspect ATF level in automatic transmission, add ATF if necessary.

Lift radiator (3) upwards

NOTE:
-

Model 211.061:  release AIR management control system (10) from upper supports (14).

-

Model 211.028:  release the radiator of the charge air cooler from upper supports (14).

-

Installation:  The lower supports of radiator (3) must be seated in rubber mounts (15).
