Oil Filter Housing: Service and Repair

Remove/Install Oil Filter Housing

Remove top engine compartment paneling

NOTE:  Pull engine compartment panel up and off at both air cleaner boxes and at bracket.

Remove fan shroud (2) with electric fan (1)

Unscrew oil filter housing cover (3)

NOTE:  Drain oil filter housing.

Unscrew bolt of bracket of oil lines (9)

Unscrew bolt of oil lines (8)

Remove oil lines and close

NOTE:  Installation:  Install new seal in order to avoid oil loss.

Unscrew bolt of oil filter housing (7)

Remove oil filter housing (4)

NOTE:  Installation:  Replace sealing ring of oil filter housing (5), in order to avoid oil leakage.

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level.
