Solar Sensor: Service and Repair

AR83.40-P-6720T Remove/Install Sun Sensor

- with CODE (581b) Convenience automatic air conditioning

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

Remove expanding clips (1) and unclip cover (2) from engine hood

NOTE:  To do this, fold back the insulating mat (3) in the area of the cover (2).

Disconnect electrical connector (4) from C-AAC sun sensor (4 in total) (B32/2)

Unclip C-AAC sun sensor (4 in total) (B32/2) out of the vent grille (5)

NOTE:  Installation:  The arrow on the housing of the C-AAC sun sensor (4 in total) (B32/2) must point in the direction of travel.

Install in the reverse order.
