^ Close locking catch (3) again.

8. Connect plug housing (4) with connector (5) of repair wiring harness.

^ The plug must click into place.

9. Screw cable lug (6) of repair wiring harness onto ground (right front) (W2) and/or ground (left front) (W9).

10. Install turn signal lamp socket (E1e5, E2e5) in headlamp housing.

11. Connect electrical connector (2) to headlamp housing.

^ Ensure that the seal is properly seated in the electrical connector (2).

12. Fasten repair wiring harness along original wiring harness with two tie straps.

^ Fasten so as to prevent noise.

13. Connect ground cable to on-board electrical system battery.

14. Perform function check of lighting system.
