Auxiliary Water Pump: Service and Repair

AR83.25-P-1170T Remove/Install/Replace Coolant Circulation Pump

Illustrated on model 211.070

DANGER:

-

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 degrees C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour
coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Allow pressure in coolant circuit to escape

NOTE:  To do this, carefully open reservoir cover and close again.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Unclamp heating water hoses (2) with clamps (3)

See "Special Tools" given below.

Disconnect electrical connector (1).

Pull out hot water circulation pump (M13)

Detach heating water hoses (2) from hot water circulation pump (M13)

Remove rubber mount from hot water circulation pump (M13)

Install in the reverse order

Check and correct engine coolant level.
