With non-functional fore/aft adjustment motor: Drive upper steering shaft (70g) into jacket tube (71) using suitable aluminum pin (077)

Remove nut (62a) from link rod (62).

Drive out upper steering shaft (70g) using suitable aluminum pin (076) until link rod (62) extends from bracket (70h) at jacket tube (71).

Component Identification

Detach fore/aft adjustment motor (M20m1) from jacket tube (71) by removing bolts (1, 2, 3, 4).

Install

Attach fore/aft adjustment motor (M20m1) with link rod (62) to jacket tube (71).

The arch (arrow) of the link rod (62) must point away from the jacket tube (71).
