By selecting telephone numbers from the call list

Incoming calls are signaled acoustically and shown on the Audio/ COMAND display.
Selections and settings are made with the Audio/COMAND control panel.

The following components are available in combination with the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) for operation of the audio system:

Voice control system (VCS [SBS])

The VCS [SBS] is activated via the voice control system ON button (S111s4). The voice signals are transmitted to the COMAND controller unit via the
hands-free system microphone (A67b1).

As of 1.6.2010. the corresponding information will be shown on the Audio/COMAND display during the operation of climate control functions, whereby
the function bar is concealed.
