Note:

In both cases, remove the cord (A461 983 07 15) on the clip of the housing for the license plate lamp (Figure 1 and Figure 2, 1) and replace with felt
underlay (30 x 50 mm, e.g. A461 712 02 97) (Figure 3 and Figure 4, 2) on both lamp housings.
