4. Remove tape from wires to Seat Adjustment Switch S89 or S90 (Figure 2).

5. Cut the wires to the switch 125mm from the end of the connector and strip off 15mm of insulation.

6. Cut 6 new wires A000 540 48 05 to 140mm in length from the end of the socket and strip off 15mm of insulation, attach the new wires to the existing
using solder splices per WIS Document AR00.19-P-0100A (Figure 3).

7. Open lock on removed connector and removing one wire at a time and installing the correct new wire in the same location, transfer new wires to
existing connector (Figure 4).

8. Wrap wires with cloth tape.
