1. Insert interior compartment/trailer hitch separation point connector (X58/33) of trailer brake wiring harness (1) into trailer hitch connector (2).
2. Insert fuse carrier (3) into load compartment fuse and relay box (F4).

The fuse carrier (3) is color-coded.

3. Route trailer brake wiring harness (1) behind load compartment fuse and relay box (F4) and next to main wiring harness (4) towards 2nd seat row.
4. Route trailer brake wiring harness (1) under cable duct retaining tabs (5) and fasten to main wiring harness (4) using cable strap (6).

5. Route trailer brake wiring harness (1) next to main wiring harness (4) and underneath the seat frame of the 2nd seat row on the right (7).
6. Fasten trailer brake wiring harness (1) to main wiring harness (4) using cable ties (6).
7. Route trailer brake wiring harness (1) over floor panel to left side and fasten in place with adhesive tape (8).
8. Route trailer brake wiring harness (1) under seat frame of 2nd seat row on left (9) in cable duct (10).

Lift inside of cable duct and route wiring harness inside.

9. Route trailer brake wiring harness (1) under floor covering and on cable duct (10) towards front floor.

10. Fasten ground line (11) to left footwell ground (W15/2).
11. Route trailer brake wiring harness (1) behind A-pillar trim at bottom and fasten in place with cable ties (13).
