Mask off body edge (arrow B) using felt tape.
This is to ensure that the wiring harness for LED lamps, wheel arch (4) is not damaged by chafing.

Route wiring harness for LED lamps, wheel arch (4), as shown, along the fender liner and fasten in place using felt tape (16).
For vehicles with code (582) A/C system in rear, ensure that the wiring harness for LED lamps, wheel arch (4) is routed in the area of the
refrigerant lines (17).
The installation of the connecting wiring harness for LED lamps is described below on the right side of the vehicle. Installation on the left side of
the vehicle is performed in the same way. For vehicles with code (220) PARKTRONIC the grommet (18) is not in the body, but rather on the
Parktronic wiring harness installed in the bumper

Remove grommet (18) from body.
On the right side of the vehicle and for vehicles without code (220) PARKTRONIC also on the left side of the vehicle.

Cut cable duct (arrow C) of grommet (18) so that an approx. 4 mm large opening is created.
