In vehicles with code (810) Sound system, the center cockpit speaker (centerfill) is therefore muted for all other applications (e.g. audio mode) via a
mute signal from the emergency call system control unit via a direct line to the sound system amplifier (N40/3).

The mute signal on the sound system amplifier is used to simultaneously mute the following speakers in vehicles with code (810) Sound system:

Left rear door speaker (H4/3)

Right rear door speaker (H4/4)

-

Left front door speaker (H4/5)

-

Right front door speaker (H4/6)

-

Left front door tweeter (H4/33)

-

Right front door tweeter (H4/34)

-

Left rear door tweeter (H4/35)

-

Right rear door tweeter (H4/36)

Left rear surround speaker (H4/54)

-

Right rear surround speaker (H4/57)

The mute signal for the subwoofer speaker (H4/29) is routed by the sound system amplifier via direct lines to the subwoofer amplifier (N40/9) and from
there via direct lines to the subwoofer speaker.

On vehicles, except code (810) Sound system, the emergency call system control unit sends a mute signal via a discrete line to the COMAND operating,
display and controller unit to mute the following speakers:

Left rear door speaker

Right rear door speaker

Left front door speaker

-

Right front door speaker

-

Left front door tweeter

-

Right front door tweeter

-

Left rear door tweeter

-

Right rear door tweeter

Normally, the voice connection is deactivated by the service center or by the customer.

The hands-free system microphone group comprises 2 microphones. However, only one microphone is used for voice input.

The establishment of a voice connection to the service center is interrupted by the communication module integrated into the emergency call system 
control unit after several unsuccessful dialing attempts.

In the event of a malfunction of the TELE AID antenna (e.g. defective due to rollover), the communication module integrated into the emergency call
system control unit automatically sends and receives the mobile phone signals and data via the TELE AID backup antenna (A2/50).
