Rear Lamp Out Message(s) in Instrument Cluster But No Failures Exist
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of a rear lamp out message in the instrument cluster but no bulb failures exist, this may be
due to a software issue in the rear SAM. This issue will only occur under all the following conditions:

^ Rear SAM with s/w version A164 442 38 00

^ Any one of the fault codes listed above present in the Rear SAM but no bulb failure exists

To resolve, using SDS version 03/09 or later, flash the rear SAM via menu path: Control units --> Body --> Rear SAM --> Control unit adaptations -->
Control module programming
