COMAND System Flickers or Switches Off Briefly, Fault Codes D011 and 9011 Displayed
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the COMAND system flickering briefly or switching off during long journeys with fault
codes D011 and 9011, at elevations above 2500 feet and cold outside temperatures (<45°F), this may be caused when the preglow control unit shuts off
and a voltage spike occurs affecting the COMAND system. To resolve, replace the preglow control unit with the part specified. Refer to WIS document
number AR15.20-P-4500GZB.

Copy of the SDS short test and all tests performed must accompany returned parts. If the documentation is missing or does not support the diagnosis,
the warranty claim may be debited.
