Tilting/Sliding Roof Water Leakage At End Cap
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles where there is evidence of water leakage into the interior, conduct an exact analysis of water
entry. If the sliding roof is suspect, follow the repair procedure below to resolve.
1. Lower or remove the headliner. Refer to WIS document AR68.30-P-4300GZ.
2. Check water drain hose for correct routing.
3. Perform rain test.
4. If water leaks at the end cap at the side or at the bottom (Figure 1), the tilting/sliding roof frame must be replaced.
