Component Identification

Fit insertion tool (271) and insertion tool (271a) together.
Upon subsequent assembly, the conical form of the insertion tool (271a) presses the lip (1d) into the correct direction.

Slide end cover (2) with crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) on insertion tool (271) fitted together.
Ensure that the lip (1d) points towards output side, that is towards the engine.

Detach insertion tool (271a) from insertion tool (271).

Insert insertion tool (271) with preassembled end cover (2) or crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) into crankshaft flange (3).
