Component Identification

Mount the sensor (086a) directly at the front of the rear propeller shaft (4) from below and align horizontally.

The cable (10) must point forwards (arrow), otherwise an incorrect measurement occurs.

If the location of the sensor (086a) deviates excessively from the horizontal, an error message appears on the display of the measuring instrument,
no value can be read off.

2.1

Read off the absolute angle at the front of the rear propeller shaft (4) on the display of the measuring instrument and enter in the data sheet.

If the electronic inclinometer is used or if a measurement is made with the electronic propeller shaft inclinometer in inclination measuring
mode.

The X-value must be read off on the display Otherwise incorrect results occur.

The measured value must not be stored.

The absolute angle at the front of the rear propeller shaft (4) may only be read off if the sensor (086a) on standby and the displayed value is
constant.

2.2

Store absolute angle at the front of the rear propeller shaft (4) in the measuring instrument.

If the electronic propeller shaft inclinometer with memory extension is used or the electronic inclination propeller shaft inclinometer with
memory extension is used in articulation angle measuring mode.

Store the measured value by pressing the SAVE button. Afterwards the measurement readiness for the fifth angle is displayed.

The absolute angle at the front of the rear propeller shaft (4) may only be stored if the sensor (086a) on standby and the displayed value is
constant.

Ensure that the sensor (086a) is seated correctly in the bores of the support plate, otherwise an incorrect measurement occurs.

Position adapter for transmission (8a) at the rear of the rear propeller shaft (5) and move into the horizontal position using the spirit level.

Check the seat of the magnetic fork at the rear of the rear propeller shaft (5).
