Component Identification

The sound amplifier microphone is located in the base of the inside rearview mirror.

Function

The sound amplifier microphone measures the interior noise in the vehicle and forwards the determined values to the amplifier for sound system. The
sound system amplifier evaluates the readings and adapts the volume of the active audio source.
