Component Identification

Location

The microphone array control unit is installed on a bracket under the left rear seat (second seat row).

Task

The microphone array control unit converts the analog signals of the hands-free system microphone group (A67b1) into digital signals and sends them to
the MOST.

The control unit supplies the COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3) with the corresponding microphone signals via the MOST bus.
These signals are used for telephone functions and voice control.
