1.
Connect light strip (1) or similar test equipment to trailer plug socket.
2.
Switch on left turn signal, right turn signal and hazard warning system one after the other and check for proper operation.
3.
Simulate failure of the left or right direction indicator lamp.
The flashing frequency of the indicator lamp in the instrument cluster must double.
4.
Switch on standing lights and check for proper operation.
5.
Switch on backup lamps and check for proper operation.
6.
Actuate brake pedal and check for proper operation.
7.
Switch on rear fog lamp and check for proper operation.
The rear fog lamp on the vehicle must not light up.
8.
Simulate failure of rear fog lamp on trailer.
The rear fog lamp on the vehicle must light up.
9.
Check the constant voltage connection (terminal 30) at the trailer socket.
10.1. Check whether ball neck folds in and out properly.
Only for model 204.0/2, 207.3/4 and 212.0/2.
