Power Mirror Motor: Description and Operation
Outside Rearview Mirror Adjustment Motor, Purpose/Design
Purpose
The motors in the left outside rearview mirror (M21/1) and right outside rearview mirror (M21/2) serve for vertical and horizontal adjustment of
the mirror glasses in the mirror housings.
Design
The motors are DC motors. One motor each is present for adjustment in the horizontal and vertical directions.
