7)
Remove the left headlamp assembly. Refer to WIS document AR82.10-P-4730GH.
8)
Remove the original auxiliary fan connector (Figure 1, M4x1) from the auxiliary fan and fasten it to the present wiring harness (Figure 1, 5) with
adhesive tape on the clip (Figure 1, 6).
9)
Route the new auxiliary fan connector (Figure 1, 3) on the auxiliary wiring harness (Figure 1, 2) to the auxiliary fan connector and insert.
Note:
Route along original wiring harness at rear of installation opening of lamp unit.
10)
Fasten auxiliary wiring harness (Figure 1, 2) to the original wiring harness area of clips with cable straps.
11)
Fasten auxiliary wiring harness ground cable (Figure 1, 1) to the left front ground (Figure 1, W9).
12)
Route auxiliary wiring harness (Figure 1, 2) into fuse and relay module.
Note:
Route fuse and relay module along wiring harness for fuse and relay module (Figure 1, 4) below installation opening of lamp unit between washer
water reservoir and fender grommet on the left side of the fuse and relay module. Remove the adhesive tape from the rubber grommet, thread wiring
harness through and reinstall adhesive tape.
13)
Route connection terminal of auxiliary wiring harness (Figure 1, 2) to the blue connector (Figure 1, ML/B) at the bottom of the fuse holder.
14)
Open housing of connector (Figure 1, ML/B) and remove lead from plug location 1.
15)
Separate present lead approximately 100 mm in front connection terminal.
16)
Insert connection terminal for auxiliary wiring harness (Figure 1, 2) into plug location 1 of connector (Figure 1, ML/B) and close connector
housing.
Note:
Ensure that connection terminal locks correctly in connector.
17)
Insert blue connector (Figure 1, ML/B) at bottom of fuse holder and fasten auxiliary wiring harness (Figure 1, 2) to separated lead with adhesive
tape.
Note:
Ensure that the stripped wire ends are insulated with adhesive tape.
18)
Fasten fuse holder to fuse and relay module with screws.
19)
Insert new 40 Amp fuse at position f44 in fuse holder.
Note:
The larger line diameter of the auxiliary wiring harness (Figure 1, 2) allows installation of a 40 Amp fuse.
20)
Install in reverse order.
21)
Check function of auxiliary fan.
