PINCH NUT ADDED TO REAR STABILIZER BAR MOUNTING BOLT

Included in this Service Campaign are the Work Instructions no. 394, which provide information on the procedure to add pinch nuts to the rear stabilizer
bar mounting bolt. Vehicles within the effective serial number range are noted below.

On these vehicles, the addition of the pinch nuts must be performed at the next service visit.

marking 1998040002, indicating that the vehicle has already been repaired.

A pinch nut has been installed to assure proper tightening torque of the rear stabilizer mount. As of chassis end number A014254, pinch nuts have been
introduced during production. For these vehicles, no action is required.

Retorque nuts on rear stabilizer bar mounting bolts. Tightening Torque: 28 Nm.
